Hi Rhonda - I came on your post by googling Australia and the Global Family Reunion. Do you know if any events are planned in Australia?
ReplyDeleteI am sure we are cousins ;) But probably very distant one's! I am not sure yet - I am just starting to put my tree on to wikitree and think about the Reunion and how I am related to the rest of the world. I am not uploading my Gedcom to wikitree as I am sure there will be lots of overlaps with existing people on Wikitree, so it will take a while to add my tree in.

DeleteThat is a very smart idea with Wikitree, I found I overlapped on a few and luckily only entered my direct line to start with, now I am fluffing it out with more information and siblings and enter each one individually.

Quite a few months yet to think about it. Maybe some societies would like to make a function of the event. I contacted the Global Family Reunion and Eowyn advised they have a Branch Party kit with information and ideas to help people get started. Regards Anne
