On Saturday 25th September 2010 Harry's descendants gathered at Ryde Ex Services Club to celebrate his birth 100 years ago.
Ryde Ex was Harry's drinking haunt. I remember hanging in the carpark whilst my father would go in and have a yarn and a drink with his father.
It was wonderful to catch up with cousins I hadn't seen in years, and it was a shame there wasn't more room so everybody could come along!
Thank you to the Aunts and Uncles for organising the reunion!
On the Sunday we revisited an old tradition of lunch at Lane Cove River Park, wow has that changed from my memories! And Dad paid us a visit :D
